Ellen Bailey

Psychotherapy & Counselling

“I believe every person has the capacity for growth, self-understanding and healing. I offer a warm, non-judgemental and person-centred therapeutic relationship where clients can explore their experiences in a safe and confidential environment. I work with clients experiencing a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, fertility and adoption-related issues, as well as broader mental health challenges. Working collaboratively, I respect each client’s individual needs and pace, helping them process their experiences, gain deeper insight and create meaningful change in their lives and relationships.”

Ellen works from a humanistic and psychodynamic perspective and is an associate member of the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP). She has experience supporting survivors of sexual trauma through her two years as a volunteer counsellor with the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre. She is LGBTQ+ affirming. She has a particular interest in adoption, surrogacy and early childhood trauma.

Ellen is currently completing a Master’s degree in Psychotherapy. She holds a Higher Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Dublin Business School and a Higher Diploma in Psychotherapy Studies from University College Dublin (UCD).
