She is dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgemental space for the Client to address any areas of concern, and she places the therapeutic relationship as central in the healing process.

Reflective listening is paramount in gaining insight into the Client’s unique world and presenting challenges. Gentle encouragement is offered to the Client to recognise, appreciate and tap into their inner strengths and resources, to explore fresh perspectives, to set goals and espouse optimism, to facilitate positive change and healing. Aveen works within a pluralistic framework, embracing diversity and inclusivity, working collaboratively with the Client to establish for them a heightened sense of engagement and self-empowerment within the therapeutic space.
