Maryrose Maguire

Counsellor and Psychotherapist (BA Hons, Couples Therapy, CBT), supporting individuals and couples with care and clarity

I hold a BA (Hons) Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and a Professional Certificate in Couples Therapy, along with additional training in psychology.   I work with adults, both individuals and couples, offering a supportive and confidential space to explore life’s challenges.

My approach is warm, relational, and integrative.  This means I draw on different therapeutic perspectives, always guided by what feels most supportive for you.   I believe therapy can be a space to make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, to find new ways of relating to yourself and others, and to discover a greater sense of ease in your life.

People often come to me when they feel anxious, overwhelmed, or caught in patterns that no longer serve them. Others reach out when relationships feel difficult, or when they’re navigating loss, change, or the search to feel more at ease with themselves.    In couples therapy, I provide a space where both partners can feel heard and understood, supporting them to work through challenges and reconnect in new ways.

Sessions last 50 minutes and are available in-person or online.
