Psychotherapy & Counselling

I am a qualified psychotherapist, having completed my psychotherapy training at Dublin Business School. I work with adults aged 18 and over, offering a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore what is happening in your life at a pace that feels right for you.

I am passionate about meeting people where they are. I understand that coming to therapy can feel daunting, particularly when you are carrying experiences that are painful, complicated or difficult to put into words. My role is not to judge, direct or tell you how you should feel. Instead, I aim to meet you with compassion, curiosity and respect, and to work alongside you in making sense of your experiences.

Throughout my work, I have supported people experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including sexual trauma, grief and loss, eating disorders, depression and stress. I recognise that these experiences rarely exist in isolation and that our relationships, family experiences, past and present circumstances can all influence how we feel about ourselves and how we navigate the world.

Alongside my psychotherapy training, I have undertaken additional professional development in Adult Children of Alcoholics, grief counselling, Compassion Focused Therapy, eating disorders and body psychodynamics. This allows me to draw on different perspectives while always keeping the individual person at the centre of the therapeutic process.

I believe therapy can offer a space to slow things down, become curious about yourself and begin to understand patterns that may have developed over time. Sometimes this involves exploring difficult experiences from the past; at other times, the focus may simply be on finding a way through what is happening in your life right now.

Most importantly, I believe you should feel heard, respected and accepted within therapy. You do not need to arrive knowing exactly what you want to say or what needs to change. We can begin wherever you are and work from there, together.
